Welcome to GRIDLIFE South Carolina, the first GRIDLIFE event of the season! We're stoked to be back for a third time at this venue and can't wait to share the GRID with you!

For those that have driven with us before, lots of this information may feel familiar, but there are some notable changes this season, so please read carefully! For those who are new, we wish you a warm welcome to the GRIDLIFE community. This page contains important details on load in, tech, registration, crew passes, and anything else you might need to set your weekend up for success!

TECH & SAFETY

Everything you need to know for Tech Inspection

  • All drivers need to pass GRIDLIFE tech inspection during the windows listed on the schedule and receive an approved tech sticker. Drivers may request an annual tech sticker if they plan on competing in multiple rounds of competition.

    Tech Inspection can be found within the My Tasks section of your TorkHub Profile.

  • We strongly discourage harness bars especially with a full harness for any class. Full rollover protection is strongly encouraged with any car running a harness.

    • In the event that a harness bar is in a car the following will apply.
      1) Use of factory 3 point seat belt will negate any safety concerns.
      2) Use of an ASM harness such as the Schroth Quick Fit Pro or Schroth Rallye 4 ASM that has a tear away right shoulder strap will negate any safety concerns.

      •  All drivers that show up with a harness bar will be assessed on a case by case basis. The type of car and the brand of harness bar will need approval by Gridlife's tech team for use on track. An alternative belt option (factory 3 point) is strongly advised if the current setup has not already been approved by GRIDLIFE's tech team.

  • 1) A current and valid helmet with SNELL rating of SA2015 or better is required for all individuals on track.

    2) Motorcycle helmets are not not approved for any use on track at GRIDLIFE.

  • In case of fire in your car on track - stop as soon as safely possible off track, exit your vehicle, and get to safety behind a wall or by a corner station. Fire is the only acceptable reason to exit your car on a hot racetrack - and the priority should be to get away from the vehicle and to safety as quickly as possible.

  • Tech is located at the Tech building by Pit Lane.

  • Tech is open during the following times:

    Thursday 4/10/2025 from 6pm-10pm

    Friday 4/11/2025 from 7am-8am

All entrants are responsible for reading and understanding all tech, safety, and competition rules relevant to their class. GRIDLIFE will offer no refunds for drivers whose vehicle does pass tech.

Drivers who are late to to tech or registration will need to schedule an appointment with motorsport@grid.life and bring confirmation showing a $40 donation to the nearest Humane Society to the racetrack.

COMPETITION TASKS

Drivers are responsible for completing all Competition related tasks within their TorkHub Profile prior to arriving to Registration. These include but are not limited to.

  • Competition Class selection

  • Number Selection

  • Tech Inspection Form

  • Emergency Contact Form

  • Competition Terms and Release

  • Vehicle Selection

All assigned tasks are located within the My Tasks section of your TorkHub Profile.

ON SITE COMPETITION DRIVER REGISTRATION

Registration is where all drivers will receive their driver's wristband, car decals, transponder (if required), and verify all necessary Torkhub forms have been completed. It is mandatory for drivers to attend registration to get your credentials to go on track at every event.

Please visit registration at your earliest convenience after arriving to avoid delays. Registration windows are listed below and also available on the schedule.
Please do your best not to miss registration, but if you do, you will need to apply for a registration appointment via email to motorsport@grid.life. Late registrants may miss track time - so don't be late!

REGISTRATION HOURS

  • Thursday 4/10/2025 6pm-10pm

  • Friday 4/11/2025 7am-8am

  • Please complete all Torkhub forms in MY TASKS before arriving at registration

  • Minor Waivers - If you are under the age of 18 and have not completed a minor waiver for this event, please email motorsport@grid.life immediately so we can get you taken care of.

Transponders

All drivers in competition (Eibach GRIDLIFE Touring Cup, TrackBattle, and GRIDLIFE RUSH Series) must rent a transponder from GRIDLIFE at registration or provide a transponder number via their TorkHub form. 

  • Ensure any owned transponders are MYLAPS X2 compatible and fully charged.

  • GRIDLIFE rental transponders are $40 for the weekend and MUST be returned immediately after a driver's last on-track session.

  • Damaged or lost transponders will incur a $595 replacement fee

CAR DECALS / SERIES BRANDING

 Standardized decal sets are now required. Please reference the Car Branding Guide below for decal placement and styling for each series. 

Drivers may purchase all required decals at registration or may print their own using the files provided in the Car Branding Guide. Customized banners, door cards, or class cards are no longer permitted to ensure consistency through each series. 

Car Numbers

A competition number can be pre-selected from an available list in Torkhub. Numbers are first come, first served, and any other visible numbers that are unremovable must be covered.

If you didn't drive last year, you may have to re-select a number. If you drove with us for more than one event last year, your number from last season is saved.

GARAGE RENTALS

Garage stalls are on sale now! Reserve your garage below now! Specific Garage assignments will be provided at registration.

PADDOCK SPOTS

Each driver is allocated roughly 10'x40' of paddock space, but please be efficient with your paddock layout and mindful of your neighbors. For drivers with large haulers or haulers with several vehicles, please email motorsport@grid.life to aid our load-in logistics.

CREW PASSES

  • Drivers may purchase annual crew pass credentials for their team members and assign them in Torkhub. Crew pass hard cards will be picked up at the box office. These hard cards are considered a ticket for the season and will be used at the gate for entry.

  • Crew passes must be assigned to an individual in Torkhub for event entry.
    To purchase or assign crew passes, go to     gridlife.torkhub.com > My Dashboard > Manage Crew > Add or Select Desired Crew Member > Purchase.
