‘CARS AND COFFEE CHARLOTTE’ JOINS CONCOURS EXPERIENCE AT UPCOMING GRIDLIFE SOUTH CAROLINA FESTIVAL
[CHICAGO - IL] GRIDLIFE and Cars and Coffee Charlotte have teamed up for the production of a car concours experience and car meet at the upcoming GRIDLIFE South Carolina Festival, to be held at Carolina Motorsports Park, March 31 - April 2.
The first GRIDLIFE Concours experience was held last year at the Circuit Legends Festival at Lime Rock Park, and was so well received that the organization now plans to execute a similar Concours at all six stops of the GRIDLIFE Festival Tour in 2023.
Described as “a concours for us”, by GRIDLIFE co-founder, Chris Stewart, the experience aims to bring an elevated car show experience to their young car audience with an emphasis on variety, and quality over quantity, recruited from the local community of enthusiasts.
With that local community in mind, GRIDLIFE reached out to Cars and Coffee Charlotte to collaborate on vehicle recruitment and show production of the Concours at the upcoming South Carolina Festival.
Cars and Coffee Charlotte is a casual monthly gathering of auto enthusiasts that get together on the 1st Saturday of every month at the old Charlotte Coliseum parking lot. The organization consistently brings a large group of cars and enthusiasts to the monthly events with a great amount of variety and quality of vehicles.
The Cars and Coffee Charlotte community also plans to organize a cruise Saturday morning of the GRIDLIFE South Carolina Festival from their regular venue in Charlotte to Carolina Motorsports Park
The GRIDLIFE South Carolina Festival is the first in a six round Festival Tour across the United States. The event features a variety of motorsports including the popular wheel-to-wheel GRIDLIFE Touring Cup (GLTC) racing series, TrackBattle Time Attack, and full course Drifting. Off the track fans will enjoy a full GRIDLIFE Arcade featuring racing simulators and vintage cabinets, vendor and sponsor activations, and camping.
