GRIDLIFE Welcomes Michael Hurczyn as New CEO to Continue Building on a Decade of Growth

Chicago, IL — August 28, 2024 — GRIDLIFE, the pioneering organization that created the Motorsports Festivals category, is pleased to announce that Michael Hurczyn has joined the team as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Hurczyn, who brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive and motorsports industry, will lead GRIDLIFE as it continues to expand its influence and deepen its commitment to grassroots motorsports.

GRIDLIFE has seen tremendous growth over the past decade, evolving from a grassroots initiative into a leader in the motorsports community. The unique blend of competitive racing, automotive culture, and music festivals has become a hallmark of GRIDLIFE events, drawing enthusiasts from across the country. As GRIDLIFE prepares for the 2025 season, the addition of Hurczyn marks a continuation of the organization's mission to push the boundaries of motorsports culture while staying true to the community-driven spirit that has been its foundation.

In his new role, Hurczyn will focus on enhancing GRIDLIFE's motorsports programs, ensuring they remain cutting-edge and competitive. He will also work to build long-term sustainability for GRIDLIFE, ensuring that the organization is well-positioned for future growth. Hurczyn's extensive background as the former Brand & Partnerships Director at FCP Euro, his work as a key connector across the industry for facilities drivers and brands combined with his experience as a winning competitor in professional motorsports, equips him with the insights needed to elevate GRIDLIFE’s racing offerings. His knowledge and experience will undoubtedly strengthening the infrastructure that supports its continued success.

With Hurczyn’s appointment, GRIDLIFE’s executive team now includes Chris Stewart, Adam Jabaay, and Michael Hurczyn, who will work closely together to lead GRIDLIFE forward. Stewart will continue to focus on the GRIDLIFE brand, event experiences, and overall vision, while Jabaay will focus on the GRIDLIFE motorsports community. All three will play an active role in the company, bringing their combined expertise to every decision as they drive GRIDLIFE forward.
