GRIDLIFE, FCP Euro, Launch New West Coast Championship for TrackBattle, Touring Cup Series
The GRIDLIFE event at Willow Springs International Raceway this week kicks off the GRIDLIFE FCP Euro Pacific Championship, a new West Coast championship division for the NOS Energy TrackBattle Championship and GRIDLIFE Touring Cup. The three-round championship features events at Willow Springs International Raceway, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and Thunderhill Raceway Park.
Drivers participating in the West Coast events will earn points in both the current national championship as well as the FCP Euro Pacific Championship, a regional division which will carry its own points tally for the three California-based events (and Circuit of the Americas for GRIDLIFE Touring Cup). The FCP Euro Pacific Championship will crown a champion in each of GRIDLIFE’s competition categories after the conclusion of the season at Thunderhill Raceway Park. Thunderhill’s national championship points will count for the 2025 national championship because of its position late in the calendar year.
The new regional championship marks GRIDLIFE’s long term investment in West Coast events, bringing both the Festival Tour and Club Circuit experiences to those far from GRIDLIFE’s midwestern roots. Participation in the FCP Euro Pacific Tour is automatically granted to any driver in the GRIDLIFE NOS Energy TrackBattle Championship or GRIDLIFE Touring Cup who has an entry in any of the West Coast events.
